  • Its been 20 days! Its been 20 days since i have last taken Clindamycin. Shortly after finishing the medication, i got tingling ( like a prickly feeling ) in my hands and feet. My nose would become severly cold and hurt. This happens only when im cold...i work in a supermarket so it happens all day while im there. When i hit my hands or feet it feels like someone took a hammer to them. I havent been very hungry...today im really dizzy. I was taking vitamins: st. johns wort, l-theanine, sam-e, vitamin e and, a muti-vitamin all while taking this pill. Has anyone else experienced this? How long does this stay in your system?

  • Clindamycin horror story Hi... My well intentioned Dentist perscribed Clindamycin for a pre-root canal antibiotic (I have a heart valve problem), on top of the penicillen that he put me on 4.5 days earlier, to relieve the infection that was going on in my tooth and gum. Long story made short, I ended up spending the night in the hospital needing a contrast CAT scan because of a GI bleed the night before Thanksgiving. My question is this: Is that common? Has anyone ever heard of that happening before? I was told I only lost about a cup of blood. However, I was also told, it could have been much worse had I not known what digested blood looked like. Because I still had two and on half days left on the penicillin when I called my Dentist and he told me to stop the penicillin immediately and get myself to the ER ... GOOD GRIEF!!!
